The first snow of 2010!

Salem is pictured here just before her 4th birthday.
She and Betty were having a playdate,
enjoying a good run in the fields.
She is maturing into a lovely girl!

4 Years...
Salem was also shown recently to her Canadian Championship by her co-owner/co-breeder, Shannon Low of Resolute Mastiffs.  Shannon did an excellent job of showing Salem and finished her championship in 2 weekends of shows.  She obtained most of her championship points at the all breed shows connected to the Canadian Mastiff Club National Specialty and finished up in just one more weekend.

 3 Years...
Unfortunately, we only have the one show photo of Salem  and Ed, because the only other photo we had taken, we have been unable to get from the show photographer.  They have been very hard to get a hold of and unresponsive as to where our photo is.  I'm glad that this one of Salem and Ed turned out so well!  Salem was shown very little and waited while her sisters were being finished before hitting the ring...and finished in short order!

Salem is pictured here with her good friend, Dylan.  This was taken in December 2008...just prior to Salem finishing her Championship.  Salem is very much her mother's daughter...the same sweet soft temperament that everyone loves.  Salem was handled to her American Championship by Ed and Karen Thomason of Alpine Kennels.  Salem absolutely adores Ed and makes quite a spectacle of herself to get his attention!!

 16 MONTHS...
Aunt Taru took Salem into the ring for me at the Pacific Northwest Mastiff Fanciers Annual Fun Match!  It is always a fun event with people showing in costume, etc.  This year's theme was Big Hair Bands if I remember correctly!  Taru did a great job with Salem and of course...Salem adores her!
15 MONTHS...

This picture was taken while on a visit to Canada.

 11 MONTHS...

While on one of our many trips to Canada to visit friends and attend shows...we got trapped in a snowstorm.  Salem was enjoying an extended sleep over with Sister Tess.  It was only supposed to be an overnight...but then the snow started to fall and before we could get off the mountain it ended up being up to the windows in the car!

8 WEEKS...

Just one of many of our wonderful Vavra photos.

 6 WEEKS...

Salem and her siblings were international travelers by the time their 6th week birthday came around!  I was attending a show on Vancouver Island and staying with Shannon Low, Resolute Mastiffs.  As she is the co-breeder of the litter and was helping with puppy critiques...we decided to bring the litter with us to her house.  So, they experienced ferry travel, etc from a very young age and did outstanding!
